Due to the Lake Wallenpaupack drawdown, this year's haul-out process will differ from previous seasons. The Boat Shop has a limited window to remove and process all units. Please review the situation below that applies to you.

AI have a slip and I am storing with The Boat Shop

Beginning immediately after Labor Day, The Boat Shop will begin removing storage customers' units from their slips. Units closer to shore may be removed first. We cannot guarantee a specific removal date.

Using Your Boat After Labor Day

  • Call or text us on the day you would like to use your boat.
  • We will confirm whether your unit is still in the water.
  • Availability cannot be confirmed in advance because the haul-out schedule may change.

You do not need to schedule a haul-out appointment.

Storage Customer Information
BI have a slip, but I am not storing — I need winterization

Winterization is available if you purchased your unit from The Boat Shop within the last two years or we have serviced it within the last two years.

How Pickup Works

  • Schedule the date you would like to pick up your unit.
  • We may need to remove and winterize it before that date.
  • Your appointment date will serve as your expected pickup date.

Your unit must be picked up within five days of your appointment or our notice that it is ready. A $25-per-day storage fee applies after five days.

CI have a slip, but I do not need service

If you plan to remove your boat by water, it must be removed from your slip no later than September 13, 2026.

If The Boat Shop has your trailer in storage, you may schedule a haul-out date. If the drawdown requires us to remove it sooner, we will place it on your trailer for pickup.

Whenever possible, deliver your unit by trailer rather than by water.

  • Recommended last day for water drop-off is September 20, 2026.
  • After that date, a public ramp and additional transport charge may be required.
  • Recommended last day for trailer drop-off is October 31, 2026.
Schedule Winterization
EI am storing with The Boat Shop, but I do not have a slip

Complete the storage form first, then schedule the date you will deliver your boat or PWC. Whenever possible, deliver your unit by trailer.

Customers who have both a slip and storage with The Boat Shop do not need an appointment.
